Biography

aaAn accomplished Managing Director in the hospitality industry, Mr. Anghelusiu has spent nearly 25 years honing his craft and leaving his indelible mark at some of the most recognized properties on the East Coast of the United States and abroad.

Fluent in German, French and Romanian, Aurelian began his education in Hotel Administration and Operations at the famed Institute Hotelier “Cesar Ritz” in Switzerland.  While in Switzerland he served in various management roles at Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts in Geneva and Hotel Zum Storchen in Zurich, to name a couple. He completed a 4-year degree program at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI in only three years to earn his BS in Hospitality/Business Management and joined the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company at their flagship property in Boston, MA under the leadership and mentorship of Sigi Brauer, famed hotelier and founding member of the company. Aurelian quickly grew in the ranks to establish himself as a Hotel Manager with both the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as well as the Four Seasons Hotel Company.  He was awarded an MBA with a concentration on Turnaround Management for completing a 2-year program in only 1-year from Northeastern Graduate School of Business in Boston, MA.

Amply prepared for undertaking greater responsibilities within the industry, he forged forward to manage multi-million dollar budgets and is credited with customer retention rates, increased revenues and profitability ratios far beyond industry averages. In addition, Aurelian specialized in financial and operational turnaround management. He has managed 5-star luxury urban and resort hotels, private country clubs and residential developments with golf, athletics, casino and hospitality services. As an asset manager and senior executive, Mr. Anghelusiu has been fiscally responsible for real estate development companies with $600mm to $1bn in real estate assets and combined operating budgets in excess of $225mm.

Known for his passion of streamlining operations while enhancing the overall service experiences as well as implementing process improvement initiatives, he has succeeded in increasing profitability and ROI at all of the luxury and quality driven companies that he has been affiliated with to date: The Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, JW Marriott, Westin Hotels, Turner Hill CC, Willowbend CC, Liberty National GC, Montammy CC, Equinox Enterprises LLC and Ramsey G&CC.

Aurelian resides in Northwestern New Jersey with his baby Dalmatian, Happy.
